Test if gcc accepts -pipe - don't assume it does.
Test if $(CC) accepts -g - don't assume it does, unless it is gcc.
Move AC_AIX, AC_ISC_POSIX, AC_MINIX, AC_DYNIX_SEQ and AC_IRIX_SUN
	to a better position.

	functionality is now in mkmi.m4.
(AC_OUTPUT): Don't generate src/libraries/regex/{doc,test}/Makefile.
